Our sponsored cycle will take place on Saturday, 9th June from 9 am onwards. For those of you who have completed the cycle in the past few years or helped out in some way, you will know it is a great day for everyone! There are 3 routes planned for adults for the day. The first is a 40km route, the second is a 100km route and the third is a 125km route. The children from the school will be completing their own cycle with parents around the famous wellie race route. Please spread the word and encourage anyone who has an interest in cycling to come along and support the school!
Wandesforde National SchoolWandesforde National School is a three teacher school. Rebuilt in 2007, it offers wonderful facilities and resources in a traditional stone building with plenty of grounds for parking and playing. Located in Castlecomer in North Kilkenny, it is within a short walk of Castlecomer Discovery Park which provides fabulous opportunities for lots of nature walks and science lessons. Class sizes are small generally being 6-10 children per class.
